I purchased my Dyson Gen5 vacuum from the official Dyson website in October 2023, paying a premium price for a product I also valued for its appearance. However, within a short period, the rubber petals on the main body came off, and the paint began peeling. This is extremely disappointing for a high-cost product that should maintain both performance and appearance over time.
I experienced this problem before and sent the vacuum to Dyson service. The service team claimed it was only a cosmetic issue that did not affect functionality, so they took no action. My vacuum remained in service for nearly two weeks, and when it was returned, it had more scratches and additional deformation compared to when I sent it. This prolonged delay and deterioration without any repair have made the situation worse.
My warranty is still valid, and my shipment reference number is 38613384. I live in Ankara. I request a replacement for my Dyson Gen5, as the damage worsens over time and I have already faced the same issue in the past. Cosmetic defects are also important to customers, especially when purchasing a premium product. If this issue is not resolved, I will escalate the matter to the Consumer Rights Board.
