On 22.05.2024 I purchased a Dyson V15 Submarine vacuum cleaner from Dyson’s official online store under the name Mücahid Y***. Although the product is still under warranty, I have been experiencing some disturbing issues for the last 5–6 months. The digital screen on the top of the device, which shows the remaining operating time, has been showing obvious and illogical fluctuations during this period. Even in a single on–off use, the remaining time increases and decreases in a way that cannot be reasonably explained, and I do not consider this a normal situation for a device of this level. Around the same period, peeling started to appear on the silicone parts located in the upper motor section, in an area that the user cannot physically access or intervene in. Since it is technically impossible for us to interfere with this area, I would like to underline that this problem is completely product-related and that it makes the device’s appearance disturbing. I reported these issues to Dyson customer services via WhatsApp. As requested, I shared the serial number of the device, general photos of the product, a video showing the fluctuation on the digital screen, and images of the peeling silicones. Despite this, I was told that the time fluctuations on the digital screen were “normal” and that there was no need to send the device to service. For the peeling silicones, I was informed that a fee might be charged even if it is within the scope of the warranty. Knowing that many users who previously experienced similar problems were supported with the replacement of these silicones and the remaining time display, I was frankly very disappointed by this approach shown to me. I request that the defective-looking parts of the product be examined in detail by an authorized service, that the remaining time display on the digital screen be checked, and that, if deemed necessary, the digital screen and the peeling silicone parts be replaced so that the device operates smoothly and has a proper appearance. I kindly ask that all these procedures be carried out under warranty, without any charge to me, as the problem is product-related and not due to user error. The product is currently in use in Tokat and my complaint concerns this location.
