I purchased the Dyson Cyclone V10 cordless vacuum cleaner from the Dyson stand at Eskişehir Espark on March 28, 2024, trusting the brand and its product quality. Although we have used the product with extreme care, a thin part of the red clip that connects the wand to the main body has broken, and as a result, we are no longer able to use the wand at all. The serial number of my device is 8CV-EU-SNR0061A. On May 26, 2026, I contacted Dyson Customer Service via WhatsApp regarding this issue. Despite the fact that such a thin and fragile piece was used in a critical connection point, the only solution offered to me was to purchase the entire wand again instead of just replacing the tiny broken piece. The price of this wand is 1,799.00 TL, and being forced into such an expense for such a small plastic component is an approach that is, in my opinion, completely unfitting for a brand like Dyson. I was informed that the product's warranty expired about two months ago and that this particular part would not be covered by the warranty in any case. However, even if the warranty has expired, I do not accept being compelled to bear the consequences of what I consider a weak design and low durability by purchasing a whole new wand. The fact that the customer representative could not offer any alternative solution and stated that there was no other department I could escalate the issue to reinforces my impression that the brand is quite disconnected from customer satisfaction and post-sales support. I demand that Dyson supply this small broken spare part separately and send it to me for a reasonable fee, or, if this is not technically possible, provide the wand to me free of charge as a gesture of goodwill. I expect support in this matter so that my trust in your product quality and in the Dyson brand is not completely lost.
