Dyson V15 Detect Trigger Not Working After 10 Months Of Use
I have been using my Dyson V15 Detect vacuum for approximately 10 months, and as of last night, a serious issue has developed with the trigger mechanism. The trigger either feels loose or gets stuck, making it impossible to use the device properly.
When I contacted Dyson customer service about this issue, I was told that since the device was purchased abroad, only paid service is available. I was informed that I would need to pay $205 for the replacement of the trigger, which is a plastic component.
I do not consider this to be user error, as a trigger mechanism failing in a product that is only 10 months old points to a manufacturing defect.
For this reason, I request that the trigger component be evaluated as a manufacturing issue and replaced without any charge, and that my problem be resolved under a warranty-like approach.
Dear Customer, Thank you for the feedback you shared with us. Your satisfaction is very important to us. Rest assured that we will handle the matter with care. Our support center representative will contact you as soon as possible to provide assistance. Sincerely, Dyson Turkey
I believe that, given the brand's reputation, a free replacement is required for this first 190 TL part that causes a chronic problem. 6500 TL is far too much for this part replacement.
The trigger mechanism in my Dyson v15 Detect vacuum malfunctioned; I requested a free repair, but the company suggested a paid fix and behaved indifferently.
