Losing your entire baggage or experiencing partial loss is a frequently encountered issue in the realm of airline travel. If you find yourself in such a situation following your journey with Turkish Airlines:
• Do not leave the airport without visiting the Turkish Airlines Lost and Found Office or the Ground Services company's Lost and Found Office if your baggage is damaged or missing.
• Use the Turkish Airlines "baggage disruption notification and tracking" page to apply for compensation for damaged or lost items. Include all required documents with your report.
• If you find damage or missing items after leaving the airport, you must apply in writing within 7 days. Apply with supporting documents on Turkish Airlines' "baggage disruption notification and tracking" page.
• Send photos of your damaged luggage and baggage tag to help evaluate your damage claim. This speeds up assessment.
• Damages from poor packaging are not Turkish Airlines' responsibility. Avoid packing fragile, sensitive, or spoilable items unprotected
• Turkish Airlines is not liable if your baggage is mistakenly taken by another passenger, damaged during transport, or otherwise financially impacted after it arrives on the conveyor unless the damage was caused by Turkish Airlines.
Don't forget to share with us if your issue is not resolved.
