Turkish Airlines Damaged My Luggage and Owes ₺400 Repair Cost

80

On May 17, 2025, after my Greece–Istanbul flight, I received my luggage broken at the Çukurova Airport baggage claim. I immediately reported the issue to Turkish Airlines staff, who took photos, uploaded them to the system, and instructed me to repair the suitcase and then submit the invoice. I had my Moda brand suitcase repaired and received a ₺400 invoice for the cost. I am now requesting that Turkish Airlines reimburse me for this expense to resolve the inconvenience caused by the damage. This is the first time I have ever faced such an issue, and I expect a fair and timely solution from the airline.
