Baggage Delay Caused By Turkish Airlines

Dear Sir/Madam, On 05 November 2025, I travelled on Turkish Airlines’ Istanbul–Hamburg flight as a Business Class passenger. Upon arrival, my baggage was not delivered, and I was forced to wait at Hamburg Airport for approximately 3.5 hours. After speaking with the airport staff, I was informed that my baggage would arrive on the next flight and could be collected from Belt No. 4. I was also told that if I opened a baggage report (PIR) at the airport, delivery to my hotel would take 2–3 days. Due to urgent business meetings, I proceeded to Renaissance Hotel in the city center. Later, based on the information I received from airport staff, I returned to the airport to collect my baggage myself. As a result, I incurred airport–hotel–airport taxi expenses totaling €100. Despite traveling in Business Class and having a priority tag on my baggage, experiencing such an issue—and subsequently being informed in my submitted request (Reference No: 2025267995) that no assistance could be provided because I had not filed a PIR at the airport—is inconsistent with the service quality and corporate standards associated with Turkish Airlines. Furthermore, all Turkish Airlines records clearly indicate exactly when my baggage was delivered. Although there was no damage or missing items in my luggage, the inconvenience and financial loss I experienced are tangible and documented. My Requests: Reimbursement of the €100 taxi expenses incurred due to the baggage delay, As compensation for the inconvenience caused, a discount on my next flight or additional miles credited to my Miles&Smiles account. As a frequent Turkish Airlines passenger, this is the first time I have encountered such an issue. I respectfully request an appropriate resolution and compensation for the inconvenience caused by the delay and communication shortcomings.
