I am experiencing a serious issue related to my Turkish Airlines flight on April 16, departing from Toronto with a connection in Vienna and arriving in Istanbul on April 17. Due to a delay on my Toronto–Vienna flight, I missed my connecting flight to Istanbul and was rebooked onto a different flight.
Upon arriving in Istanbul, my baggage was not delivered to me. I immediately filed a lost baggage report at the airport, and a PIR file was created with the reference number ISTTK82528. However, despite three days having passed, I have received no information about the location of my baggage and no updates have been provided.
More importantly, my lost baggage contains medication that I must take regularly. This situation poses a serious health risk for me, yet there has been no communication or concrete action taken to resolve the issue.
I find it unacceptable that an airline of this scale and reputation is showing such a lack of responsiveness and leaving passengers in this situation.
I request that my baggage be urgently located and delivered to me as soon as possible. Given the presence of essential medication in my luggage, I ask that my case be treated as a priority. I also expect regular and clear updates regarding the status of my baggage.
