Turkish Airlines Damaged My Pierre Cardin Suitcase And Refuses Proper Compensation

On my Turkish Airlines journey on 15 November 2025 from Berlin to Gazipaşa via Istanbul (flights TK1722 and TK2598), I received my checked baggage in a seriously damaged condition. My Pierre Cardin brand black fabric suitcase was handed back to me with the upper pull-handle mechanism and its plastic components broken, the side handle torn, a puncture in the side fabric, and the bottom plastic protection broken. I reported this situation immediately at the airport and a damage report was issued by Turkish Airlines with the reference number GZPTK19586. Afterwards, Turkish Airlines requested the purchase invoice of my suitcase, but this is impossible for me to provide because I bought it in another city and I cannot reach the shop, as it was closed indefinitely due to the earthquake. They also requested a repair invoice, but there is no authorized dealer in my city and I do not have the time or practical possibility to have the suitcase repaired just to obtain an invoice. Due to the extent of the damage, this suitcase is no longer safely usable for travel. I request that Turkish Airlines either replace my damaged suitcase with one of equivalent quality and features or provide appropriate monetary compensation corresponding to its value. I kindly ask for my complaint to be evaluated and resolved as soon as possible and to be informed about the outcome.
