My package got lost with UPS, what steps can I take to ensure a full reimbursement?

A lost package is a parcel or shipment that cannot be found or delivered on time. A package is lost in shipping and logistics if it goes missing during transit and cannot be found through standard tracking. If your package goes missing while in UPS's care, here's what you can do to get your money back in full:
Start a Claim with UPS You can start a claim with UPS by submitting it online or calling UPS customer service. In order to file a claim, you will need to provide specifics like the package's tracking number, the estimated value of its contents, and any other information you have that is relevant to the case.
Provide any documentation that UPS requests to help verify your claim. A receipt for the contents of the package may be required.
If you help UPS out with their investigation, they'll let you know what they find. If your claim is legitimate, you'll get your money back based on how much the contents of the package were worth.
UPS may request proof of insurance if you've chosen to insure your shipment.
The amount you are reimbursed may not reflect the full cost of replacement but rather the value of the items inside the package.
