Unfortunately, New Balance sneakers no longer meet their prior standards. We bought the 565 model two months ago, and the toe area has already started to deteriorate. The 500 model, which I purchased for myself and meant to use, is in poor shape. I had to use Japanese adhesive to hold things together. If I had known it would deteriorate so quickly and come apart everywhere, I would have returned it instead of using glue. The shoes are now completely covered in glue, including the right, left, inside, back, heel, and sole. The quality of this brand, which I've been using since roughly 2010, has unfortunately deteriorated.
