I had the same problem with my car when ı was in Greece. Did you also notice any warning lights flashing on your dashboard? Like lane keeping assist and traction control? I bought the car on October 23rd and a month later ı realized the fan wasn't working. None of the buttons on the climate control panel were working. I left the car at the service Center for a month to have the cabin fan replaced. Now everything is fine. Good luck.
