I purchased the Tefal XL tea maker three months ago; however, because I have not been using it correctly, the spout portion of the water boiling section has rusted. When I called customer service, they informed me that this was not covered by the warranty and suggested that I clean it with bleach, which is both an absurd and unhealthy solution to the problem. I hung up. Whether or not I was the cause of the rust, it is obvious that the problem was caused by the use of materials of low quality. In light of this, I would appreciate it if the appliance, which is still covered by the warranty, could either be refunded or replaced.
