I purchased my Tefal iron more than four years ago from a retail store. Today, after about one hour of use, the device suddenly began to burn from the plastic section and released visible smoke. The incident left the iron completely unusable and raised serious safety concerns.
I am aware that my product is no longer under warranty, and I do not have any extended service contract. However, I believe it is important that Tefal is informed of this issue. A household appliance overheating and burning in this way can be dangerous, and other customers may also face the same risk.
I request that Tefal take this case seriously, investigate the root cause, and implement preventive measures to avoid similar incidents in the future. As a long-time customer, I expect the brand to pay greater attention to product safety and provide reassurance that such hazardous malfunctions will not affect other users.
