Tefal X-Force Flex 16.60 Repeated Faults - No Replacement
On 11.02.2024, I purchased a Tefal TY99F1 X-Force Flex 16.60 Animal vacuum cleaner for ₺20,000. When the product stopped working, I took it to the authorized service center on 30.11.2024, and they replaced the battery under warranty. Then, on 06.01.2025, when the rotating mechanism on the head stopped functioning and the LED light would not turn on, I brought it back to the authorized service. After calling Alo 175, I learned that I could use my consumer rights and requested a replacement from the service, but they told me they did not have the authority. I asked the store where I bought the product, and they also said they had no authority. Even though I repeatedly informed both the store and Tefal customer service by email that I wanted a replacement, they only replied with “We are interested,” delaying me for weeks. I submitted all documents to the arbitration panel; although I had the right to request a replacement, the panel unfortunately ruled that repairing the product was sufficient. I then filed a lawsuit with the Bakırköy Consumer Court, paying ₺3,000, and on 14 November 2025, I paid an additional ₺6,000 for an expert and waited for the court’s decision. I have been dealing with this situation caused by Tefal for almost a year. I want a full refund for the product, and I never want to deal with this brand again.
Emails have been sent and calls have been made to you multiple times regarding this issue. There has been no response from your side. I will also forward this complaint to Tefal France.
