On September 6, 2025, I purchased a Tefal X-Force Flex 14.80 Aqua upright vacuum cleaner from Beylikdüzü Media Markt. Unfortunately, from the very first use, I encountered two serious issues.
First, the blue-light floor cleaning attachment does not work properly on light surfaces such as thin rugs. The light turns off and the cylindrical roller stops spinning, making the feature unusable. Even after testing it on eco mode as suggested by the sales staff, the problem persisted.
Second, the product’s noise level is significantly higher than advertised. While Tefal’s official specifications state 67 decibels, my home measurements reached 78–79 decibels. This either indicates a technical defect in my device or misleading technical information on the product page.
I requested a return (cancellation) through Beylikdüzü Media Markt customer service. However, I was told the vacuum would first need to be sent to service, where they might decide on a part replacement, repair, or refund, and this process could take up to 20 business days. This response leaves me at risk of losing my 15-day right of withdrawal and being forced to accept a repaired device instead of a refund.
My Request
Since these defects were present from the very first use, I want my product to be returned for a full refund. I do not want to wait weeks for a repair process or risk further issues with a replacement unit.

I kindly request that Media Markt and Tefal take responsibility and resolve my issue quickly by processing a refund without unnecessary delays.
