If you think Amazon charged you twice for the same item, check Your Orders and your payment account to see if both charges went through and one is still pending.
It's possible for duplicate charges to show up briefly as an authorization and then go away after a few business days.
Go to Your Orders, pick out the order that didn't go through, and click "Problem with order" → "Request a refund." You can also call or live chat with Amazon Customer Service to get in touch with them.
Within 3–5 business days, most banks will send your refund back to the way of payment you used the first time. However, some banks may take up to 10 business days.
