On 08/06/2025, I purchased the Jabra Elite 8 Active wireless earbuds from Amazon (Order No: 402-1571779-5241132). The product malfunctioned while still under warranty, so I sent it to the service center, which issued a report for replacement or refund. However, since they had no stock, I was directed back to Amazon. Amazon also stated that they had no stock and only offered a refund. Although I requested a replacement, I was forced to accept a refund at the original purchase price, even though the current market value of the product was much higher. At the time I filed the claim, the market value was about ₺12,500, but they told me they could only refund the purchase amount of ₺4,499. I did not want to accept the refund under these conditions, but I was given no other option. Since then, I have contacted Amazon customer service more than 15 times (via live chat and phone) regarding the refund process. I was told that the refund had been processed and the amount would be credited to my account, but no refund has appeared in my bank transactions. Amazon only provided a refund confirmation code, but my conversations with my bank revealed that this code does not correspond to any transaction. I also visited my bank branch to verify, and as of 09/09/2025, no refund had been received. I have been struggling with this issue for about a month, which has caused me both financial loss and wasted time. I demand that Amazon either replace the product at its current market value or issue a refund in that amount to resolve the inconvenience I have experienced.
