I Face Chery Omada 5 Excellent Sunroof Glass Shattering While Driving on Highway

I am the owner of a Chery Omada 5 Excellent, and on December 7, 2025, while driving on the Izmir–Torbalı highway in Izmir, Turkey, the sunroof glass of my vehicle suddenly shattered. The weather was clear, my speed was around 130 km/h as appropriate for highway conditions, and there were no vehicles close to my right side or directly in front of me. The glass broke on its own without any impact, and if I had not kept my composure at that moment, this could have resulted in a serious accident. On Monday morning, December 8, 2025, at 08:30, I took my vehicle to the authorized service as soon as they opened. I explained that the sunroof glass had shattered spontaneously while driving and that this created a serious safety risk. The service informed me that they would email Chery Turkey about the issue and would let me know once they received a response about whether the replacement would be covered under warranty. However, they returned the vehicle to me in its damaged condition and sent me away without any temporary solution or safety measures. As of now, I still have not received any response or feedback from Chery or the service. I am in a very uncomfortable and victimized situation because I cannot use my vehicle, especially in the winter season, and the top of my car is effectively open. This exposes me to the risk of theft, as well as the possibility of an animal entering the vehicle and causing further damage. In addition, I am aware that many other Chery owners have experienced similar sunroof shattering incidents, which increases my concern about the safety and quality of this component. I request that the sunroof of my Chery Omada 5 Excellent be replaced as quickly as possible under warranty, without charging me any cost, and that a courtesy vehicle be provided to me until the repair is fully completed so that I am not left without transportation during this period. I expect this serious safety issue to be taken into consideration urgently and resolved promptly.
