I'm a new entrepreneur, and I've been trying to open a bank account to receive foreign payments so I can start selling on Shopify. But no matter what I do, the bank won't let me open an account. I've shown them all my bank accounts for the past four weeks, but they still won't budge. To top it off, they want a business bank account with three months of history. Now that's just ridiculous! I don't understand why they're being so stubborn. They said it was fine when I told them I was a student; why is it such an issue now? This hasn't been cheap either; after paying £45 to open a company in the UK, I still can't get anywhere! It's incredibly frustrating. Does anyone have any advice on how to get around this? Is there anything else I could do? Surely there must be some way to get past this roadblock. There have got to be other options out there besides just giving up!
