I'm one of several beneficiaries of a large inheritance and need to know if Wise can handle the individual amount I'm entitled to receive. What's the highest limit?

Wise generally doesn't impose limits on how much money you can receive and hold, except for specific cases such as receiving USD with a routing number starting with 026 or for businesses using card payments.

However, if your registered address is in certain countries like India, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, or Singapore, there may be additional limits. For USD account details starting with 026, personal customers have a transaction and daily limit of $20,000,000 and a yearly limit of $35,000,000, while business customers have higher limits.

These limits apply over a rolling 365-day period. If you receive a payment that exceeds these limits, Wise may request additional information and documents for verification.
