My new Wise account can't receive money. How can I torubleshoot?

Wise offers different account details for different currencies, so make sure you're giving the sender the right ones. The same currency as your account details are required for most currencies except GBP, but GBP accounts can receive money in 17 currencies without fees. Avoid currency mismatches by checking the sender's currency when initiating the transfer.

Second, check Wise account verification. Receiving funds requires a verified account. Check your verification status on Wise's app or website. Complete account verification to start receiving.

Finally, be aware of Wise currency and funding restrictions. Wise doesn't accept all currencies, so check their website for a list. Wise doesn't allow gambling or betting, so make sure the sender's funds are legitimate.
