• Refund Location: Before your flight, you can request a refund for excess baggage at any Turkish Airlines sales office.
• Partial Refunds: Partial refunds for extra baggage purchased online are not permitted. You can, however, request a refund for the entire allowance and replace it with a new one for updated flights.
• Transferring and Accompanying Passengers: Extra baggage allowances cannot be transferred to other passengers or flights.
• Changes in Flight: Extra baggage does not automatically transfer to new flights. For updated flights, you must request a refund for the original allowance and purchase a new one.
• Flight Cancellation or Change: If your flight changes or is canceled due to circumstances beyond your control, you have one year to request a refund.
• Non-Compliant Baggage: Refunds can only be processed before the flight if your extra baggage does not meet the rules.
• For safety and operational reasons, Turkish Airlines does not guarantee extra baggage transportation, instead providing suitable alternatives.
• Excess baggage on transfer flights (less than 24 hours) cannot be refunded after the flight.
• Upgrade to Business Class: If you upgrade to Business Class after purchasing extra baggage online, you can request a refund at the sales office.
