Turkish Airlines Charged Me for the Same Carry-On Bag It Accepted for Free Before
On 17.03.2026, I flew with Turkish Airlines in economy class on the Skopje–Istanbul route. During check‑in at Skopje Airport, I was charged an additional 50 euros for my baggage, even though the baggage was not heavy, and I believe it should have been included in my allowance. But on 12 March 2026, from Istanbul to Skopje, they did not ask for money from us; we flew free, no extra charge for an economy ticket. The payment of 50 euros was taken directly at the check‑in counter at the airport. My reservation code for this flight is 2352287605168/2. I was not given a clear or satisfactory explanation as to why this amount was charged, and I consider this fee to be unfair. I kindly request a full refund of the 50 Euro baggage fee that was charged to me at check‑in for this flight and an explanation as to why this situation occurred.
No solution, they didn't call, they didn't bother.
