Overcharged for Baggage on Turkish Airlines – No Receipt for 48 Euro Paid in Düsseldorf
On September 29, 2024, my spouse and I arrived at Düsseldorf Airport for our connecting flight to Iğdır. At the gate, a woman, who we identified as Turkish based on her conversation, charged us 48 euros for excess baggage, claiming it would cover our entire journey to Iğdır. However, upon arrival at Istanbul Airport, we were asked to pay an additional ₺630 for the same baggage. The real issue is that the 48 euros we paid in Düsseldorf didn’t appear in the system, and no receipt was given to us. Despite contacting customer service multiple times, I haven’t received a clear explanation. Turkish Airlines needs to investigate this matter and address their staff’s actions. Has anyone asked this woman if she really processed the payment?
