Turkish Airlines: Baggage Issue Affected My Child

Hello. My daughter C***** D***** arrived at Düsseldorf Airport today at 14:50 to fly to Istanbul. Her ticket indicated a baggage allowance of 40 kg. To avoid any mistakes, we called Turkish Airlines customer service and confirmed this. Today at the airport, they weighed her baggage and told her to remove 2 kg because it was 34 kg. My daughter got anxious and removed her sunscreen and skincare products. They threw all of them away while she was in tears. My daughter is 15 years old, in a different country, and traveling alone. We chose Turkish Airlines because we believed it to be reliable and problem-free. Now our child is flying while crying. There is no way to compensate for this emotionally. Should I be upset about my child's tears or the stress she experienced? Please resolve this issue.
