Stanley thermoses can be returned, but only if the item was bought from a Stanley-authorized store and is still under warranty.
You have 30 days to return or exchange it if you bought it from Stanley's website or stores. Within 30 days of purchase, you can return the thermos for a full refund (less shipping costs), as long as it's unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging. You can start a return by calling customer service or going to their returns portal.
You'll need to follow the return policy of the thermoses you bought from other stores, which is usually the same 30-day window for returning unused, undamaged items with a receipt.
When it comes to warranties, Stanley backs up all of their thermoses with a lifetime warranty against loss of thermal performance. This means that if your thermos doesn't keep the temperature as promised because of a problem with the way it was made, they will fix it or give you a new one at no cost to you. It is important to know, though, that the warranty does not cover damage caused by normal use, abuse, accidents, or changes.
