I Face Dangerous Lid Malfunction on Stanley The Aerolight Transit Mug
On July 30, 2025, I purchased a Stanley The Aerolight Transit Mercan Mug Thermos (Receipt No: 0009) for ₺1,690. On the very first use, when I poured in hot coffee, the lid burst open forcefully, splashing everywhere. My arms and hands were burned, and my kitchen counter and carpet were badly stained. After this frightening experience, I could not use the product again.
I immediately reported the issue to the store, but they refused to take responsibility. They did not provide after-sales support, nor did they accept my return or replacement request. Instead, they directed me to contact Stanley directly. I then submitted a complaint on Stanley’s official website and shipped the thermos today for inspection, as they requested. The product was sold with the assurance of a lifetime warranty, which was one of the main reasons I trusted this purchase.
