I Bought a Stanley Straw Lid Thermos That Leaks

I recently purchased a Stanley thermos as a new mom needing a reliable product for daily use. Unfortunately, the model I received came with a straw lid that leaks, which I later found out is a known issue with this version. What makes this even more frustrating is that shortly after I purchased it, Stanley released a new non-leaking version of the same product.
The one I received is practically brand new and hasn’t even been used properly, yet it’s defective right out of the box. I specifically chose Stanley because of its reputation, but now I’m left with a thermos that I can’t use safely, especially around a baby. I’ve even tried replacing the straw with parts from their supposedly leakproof version, but that didn’t solve the problem either.
All I’m asking for is a fair resolution—I want to exchange my unused leaky thermos for the updated, non-leaking model. It’s incredibly disappointing that a brand like Stanley didn’t proactively offer a fix or alert customers about this known defect. Please contact me immediately to arrange a product exchange. This experience has been nothing but frustrating, and I need a working product now—not later.
