I Bought a Stanley Quick Flip Thermos That Loses Heat in 2 Hours

June 13, 2025 9:36 AM41

I purchased a Stanley Quick Flip thermos expecting quality and performance, but I was extremely disappointed. I only used the product twice, and both times it lost heat within just 2–3 hours, far from the promised 8 hours of heat retention. To be sure it wasn’t just a one-time issue, I filled it a third time under test conditions—and again, it failed to keep the temperature. This is completely unacceptable for a product marketed as a thermos.

I sent the product in under its lifetime warranty, but was told there was no manufacturing defect, so it would be returned to me as is. That answer is beyond frustrating. How can a thermos that’s been used only twice, never dropped, scratched, or mishandled, not qualify for a warranty claim?

If I wanted a simple cup, I would have bought one. I purchased a thermos specifically for its heat-retaining promises. If Stanley claims it keeps drinks hot for 8 hours, then why is mine failing after 2? That’s clearly a product issue, not user error. I demand a full product exchange. If this complaint is ignored, I will take every legal and consumer rights action available to resolve this.

Stanley, please honor the trust customers place in your brand. Don't brush us off with generic rejections—stand behind your product!
