If Hotels.com claims a failed payment but your bank statement shows a successful transaction, contact both parties to resolve the issue:

Contact Hotels.com via phone, chat, or social media. Tell them you received a payment failure notification despite your bank statement. To prove your claim, provide your booking confirmation number and bank statement screenshots or documents.

Discuss the discrepancy with your bank's customer service line or online chat/messaging system. Check Hotels.com for the exact amount on your bank statement. Ask about a temporary authorization hold on the funds, which can appear as a deduction before the transaction clears.
