Hotels.com Overcharged Me Despite Applied Discount

I booked a reservation through Hotels.com with confirmation number 73155126524270. The total amount, including VAT and all applicable taxes, was clearly shown as ₺2852.10 at checkout. A discount was also applied during the transaction. However, when I checked my bank statement, I was shocked to see that ₺2940.37 had been charged to my card instead. That’s ₺88.27 more than the amount I agreed to pay.

How can a well-established company like Hotels.com charge a different amount than what’s confirmed during the booking process? This is a serious breach of trust and borders on unauthorized billing. To make matters worse, customer service is unreachable, and I haven’t been able to get any response regarding the issue.

I demand that the overcharged amount be immediately refunded and a clear explanation provided for why this discrepancy occurred. Consumers deserve transparency, not hidden or inflated charges after checkout. Fix this now, or I will be forced to take further action.
