I Face GetYourGuide Overbooking and Missed Transylvania Castle Tour

On Friday, October 10, 2025, we experienced a serious issue with the Transylvania Castle tour we purchased through GetYourGuide. The tour bus was scheduled to arrive at 9:15 AM, and my spouse and I were already at the designated meeting point—Regina Elisabeta Boulevard No. 7—by 8:35 AM. Our reservation number is gygblh25vnf7. We paid a total of $72 for two people by credit card (Yapı Kredi).
The bus did not arrive at the scheduled time. We messaged the tour guide on WhatsApp and received a response saying, “We are coming,” but no one showed up. When we later called by phone, the guide told us that there was no space left on the bus due to overbooking and said we needed to contact the tour company instead. The guide also clearly stated that having a ticket did not matter in this situation.
We shared our ticket details and explained what happened to the tour company via WhatsApp as well, but we have not received any response or solution so far.
We traveled to Bucharest independently and purchased this tour only through GetYourGuide. Despite being at the correct place and time, we received no service at all and were left stranded. For this reason, I am requesting a full refund of the $72 we paid.
