Hotels.com Charged ₺22,656 Despite No Prepayment Notice, Then Canceled My Booking

I made a reservation for “Alaçatı Private” hotel via Hotels.com, relying on a clear statement during checkout that said no payment would be taken at that time. However, despite this, ₺22,656.58 was immediately withdrawn from my credit card, and I received a confirmation from my bank the very same moment.
The reservation confirmation number is 72064926392126.
Later, I tried to change only the dates of the reservation, but I was shocked to see that my booking had been automatically canceled without my approval. What’s worse, there was no way to contact a live customer service representative—no accessible phone number, no real-time support, and no helpful follow-up from Hotels.com.
I’m not just disappointed—I feel completely misled and ignored.
I do not want a refund. I am requesting that my original reservation be reactivated and rebooked for the same hotel under the new dates: September 22 to September 26, 2025, at the same confirmed rate. I’ve already paid and was not the one to cancel—Hotels.com’s system did it without clear warning.
This issue must be resolved immediately. I trusted the platform and now face serious inconvenience and financial stress. I expect Hotels.com to honor the original terms and restore my booking without additional charges.
