I Face GetYourGuide Misleading Tour Listing for Baku Gobustan and Absheron Trip

On October 27, 2025, a friend and I joined the tour titled “Baku: Gobustan and Absheron Day Trip (Lunch and Entrance Tickets Included)”, which we purchased through GetYourGuide (Reservation No: gyg83xxgml45).

The tour title is misleading, because even though it clearly states that both lunch and entrance tickets are included, the promised services were not fully provided. Either lunch or entrance tickets should have been included as advertised, but in reality, neither was properly delivered as promised.

In addition, the tour description stated that the guide would be Turkish-speaking, but throughout the entire tour, all explanations were given only in English. Although lunch was listed as included in the package, we were asked to pay extra for the meal, and the restaurant where we ate was poorly maintained and unhygienic. Instead of visiting the large mud volcano shown in the promotional images, we were taken to a much smaller and less significant one. We were also forced to pay an additional mandatory fee for an off-road vehicle during the tour.

Despite all these issues, I left a low rating and a detailed review with GetYourGuide at the end of the tour and requested a refund, but I have not received any response. We paid a total of $72 for two people, and on top of that, we were required to pay additional extra fees during the tour.

I request a full refund of the amount we paid, along with a formal apology, to compensate for the inconvenience and misleading service we experienced.
