If Wizz Air charged you extra for a cabin bag at the gate, check to see what your ticket covered. For regular bookings, you can bring one small bag that is up to 40 x 30 x 20 cm and weighs up to 10 kg for free.

If you met those requirements for size and weight but were still asked to pay, keep your boarding pass, pictures of the bag measurements, the fee receipt, and any messages you got.
