Avoid Wizz Air at all costs! For our March 8-15 Istanbul-Gatwick flights, we were forced to pay €45 per person at Istanbul Airport and then £45 per person at Gatwick just to check in! We were a family of three, meaning we paid a ridiculous amount in extra fees.
The worst part? Wizz Air’s website and app wouldn’t allow online check-in, no matter how many times we tried hours in advance. This is a clear scam to charge passengers unnecessary fees.
We have screenshots and proof, and we will be filing official complaints and taking legal action if necessary. Wizz Air, refund my money immediately and fix this fraudulent practice!
