I am writing regarding my Wizz Air flight W46018 on the Barcelona–Rome route on 8 April 2026, where I experienced a duplicate charge for baggage. I had already paid 36 euros for baggage online before the flight, but at the airport on 8 April 2026 at around 9:30 a.m., I was charged an additional 146 euros for baggage for the same trip. This situation meant I ended up paying twice for the baggage service, even though the baggage had already been paid online. When I raised this issue with Wizz Air staff, I was informed that refunds are not provided, without any satisfactory explanation of why a second payment was necessary. I request a refund of the duplicated baggage charge of 146 euros that was taken at the airport, as this amount was charged in addition to the 36 euros already paid online for the same baggage. I kindly ask that this issue be reviewed and that the refund be processed as soon as possible.
