Wizz Air Charged Me €75 Despite My Paid Extra Baggage

On May 13, 2026, during my Wizz Air flight UUE85B from Budapest to Ankara, I was charged an additional €75 at the boarding gate even though I had already purchased extra baggage in advance. When I checked in, I informed the airline representative that I had paid for additional baggage. The representative confirmed that I could proceed with my baggage and did not give me any warning or further instructions.

However, when I reached the boarding gate, a staff member told me that I was running out of time and would miss my flight if I did not pay immediately. The employee insisted that I pay an additional €75 and handled the situation in a dismissive and unfriendly manner. Even though I had proof that I had already purchased extra baggage, no one was willing to review my documentation or assist me.

I believe this €75 charge was unfair because I had already paid for additional baggage before my flight. I respectfully request a full refund of the €75 that was collected from me after my advance baggage purchase is properly reviewed.
