I Face €45 Fee from Wizz Air for Not Being Informed About Online Check-In

August 6, 2025 9:30 AM52

We booked a ticket with Wizz Air to London, but at the airport, we were told at the baggage counter that we should have completed online check-in before arrival. Since we had not been informed about this requirement, we were forced to pay an extra €45 fee.

This was our first time flying with Wizz Air, and at no point during the booking process or communication was it made clear that online check-in was mandatory. Passengers should not be charged additional fees for unclear rules.

I am requesting a refund of the €45 and clearer communication from Wizz Air so that first-time customers are not unfairly penalized.
