Wizz Air Double Booking -Refund Denied for Ticket Due to Site Error
On September 15, 2025, I attempted to purchase a Wizz Air ticket from Bucharest to Hamburg through Opodo. Due to a site error, I believed the ticket had not been purchased and bought another one elsewhere. However, I later realized that the ticket had in fact been issued by Opodo as well. The booking code is WRICPX, and the flight date is September 17, 2025. When I noticed the situation, I contacted Opodo customer service, but despite the error, they refused to cancel the ticket and told me to contact the airline directly. As a result, I paid €290 unnecessarily, was left in a difficult position, and could neither cancel the ticket nor receive a refund. I request that Opodo and Wizz Air resolve this issue and refund the ticket fee.
