Wizz Air has been the most frustrating airline experience I’ve ever had. I ended up paying more for the check-in fee than I did for the actual plane ticket — and that’s not an exaggeration. My flight wasn’t even ₺4,000, yet the amount they charged me just to check in was outrageous.
I tried to check in online several times in advance, and the system kept failing. I told the staff at the airport that the online check-in wasn’t working, yet they still insisted I pay this inflated fee as if it was my fault. It felt like they were just trying to squeeze every possible lira out of me.
There was no proper explanation, no flexibility, no support — just a cold, robotic “you must pay.” I had no choice but to hand over the money. It honestly felt like a scam. There’s zero transparency, no accountability, and clearly no interest in customer satisfaction.
Wizz Air, you need to address this unethical practice immediately. I’m warning other travelers — think twice before flying with them. It’s not worth the stress or the unexpected fees.
