If Canva charged your card after the trial, it's because the contract automatically renewed. Trial plans become paid plans if they aren't canceled before the trial ends.
Canva's policy says that subscriptions aren't usually refundable, so you'll need to get in touch with their support, explain your situation, and ask for an exception (sometimes return requests are granted).
When you want to get your money back from an Apple or Google (iOS or Android) charge, you need to go to the App Store or Google Play, not Canva.
