Etihad Airways damaged my luggage, how can I quickly file a claim?

Report any damage to your bags by Etihad Airways right away at the arrivals desk before you leave the airport to get a Property Irregularity Report (PIR). This record is important for claims and keeping track of things.

If you've already left, you have seven days to get in touch with the Baggage Services team at the airport where you arrived. Give your PIR number and information about the damage.

Once you've turned in your report, have any company you choose fix your luggage, and keep the bill. Within seven days of getting your bags, you must file a claim online and include the PIR and repair ticket.
