Etihad Airways Baggage Damage Claim – Compensation Request





Dear Etihad Airways Customer Service, I am writing to file a complaint regarding my damaged baggage upon arrival from my recent journey with Etihad Airways. Flight details: Passenger Name: Park Y*** Booking Reference / PNR: 5QGMN Flight Number: EY592 (Amman – Abu Dhabi) / EY822 (Abu Dhabi – Seoul) Date of Travel: 18 August 2025 When I collected my checked baggage (brand: National Geographic), I found that the suitcase was delivered with broken wheels, rendering it unusable. The damage was not present before check-in. I kindly request compensation or replacement for the damaged suitcase as per Etihad’s baggage policy. Please find attached photos of the baggage tag, boarding pass, and the damaged suitcase for your reference. I would appreciate it if you could advise me on the next steps to proceed with this claim.
