Etihad Broke My Suitcase on International Flight and Never Followed Up


On November 3, 2025, during my return flight from Indonesia to Istanbul with Etihad Airways, two wheels on my suitcase were broken and the suitcase itself was also damaged. A damage report was filed at Istanbul Airport, but despite this, I was not provided with a replacement suitcase and no solution was offered.
In addition, since I had a connecting flight to Ankara, I experienced significant inconvenience because of this issue. Even though I have been waiting for nearly two months, I still haven’t received any response. Despite calling many times, I can’t reach anyone responsible, and I’m unable to find out the status of my case. I was given a file/reference number 2511064981086, but despite having this reference number, no one appears to be handling my case.
To resolve the inconvenience I experienced, I am requesting a refund for the cost of my damaged suitcase. After such a long period without any result, I expect to receive a response as soon as possible and have my issue properly resolved.
