Etihad Airways Baggage Damage Complaint Ignored


On October 30, 2025, I completed my Bangkok–Abu Dhabi–Istanbul flight (EY401 and EY545, booking code: 7B9AN6) with Etihad Airways. Upon arrival, I noticed that the handle of my suitcase was completely broken, which also caused damage to the body of the luggage. There were no missing items, but the suitcase is now unusable due to the damage.
I have already submitted two official complaint forms through the Etihad Airways mobile app, including photos of the damage (reference numbers: 2511034976951 and 2510304970598). However, it’s been over a week, and I still haven’t received any response. Unfortunately, I couldn’t file a report at the airport because I only noticed the damage after leaving the terminal.
I kindly request an urgent update and resolution regarding the repair or compensation for my damaged baggage. I paid much for this service, and I expect Etihad Airways to address this issue promptly and resolve my inconvenience.
