You can receive a free battery replacement through Dyson's warranty program if your vacuum is experiencing a battery failure while it is still covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Normally, Dyson provides a 2-year warranty that covers the battery. Therefore, Dyson should replace your vacuum's battery at no cost to you if a problem arises while it is covered by this warranty. You can log into your My Dyson account to see if your machine is still covered by warranty and qualified for a free battery replacement. Dyson doesn't advise using third-party batteries for their vacuum cleaners because they place a strong emphasis on using high-quality battery technology.
