Mercedes EQE 350 Warranty Claim Denied for Center Console Failure

I own a Mercedes EQE 350 4MATIC that is currently under an extended goodwill warranty until June 2027. On 13 November 2026, the center console lid stopped opening when the button is pressed. I reported this problem and contacted your service, but I was informed that this malfunction would not be covered under warranty. The explanation I was given was that, because I allegedly did not replace the pollen filter on time, the center console would not be included in warranty coverage. I do not find it reasonable that a delay in changing a pollen filter is used as a justification to exclude a clearly unrelated mechanical problem in the center console, especially while goodwill coverage is active. The authorized service also stated that the console cannot be repaired and that the whole part has to be replaced, with a quoted cost of 106,000 TL. This is my second Mercedes, and unfortunately I have previously experienced a serious issue with the accelerator pedal in my first vehicle, which left me stranded four times. Only after I arrived at the service center with a lawyer was the pedal finally replaced. Because of these repeated experiences, I am extremely disappointed that a brand like Mercedes is again refusing to stand behind its product. I request that the center console malfunction on my Mercedes EQE 350 4MATIC be covered under the existing extended goodwill warranty and that the necessary replacement be carried out free of charge. I kindly ask you to review this decision once more and provide a solution that is consistent with both your warranty commitments and the trust I have placed in your brand.
