My Dyson V8 Absolute vacuum cleaner was purchased from Metro Market in Çiğli, İzmir, in March 2021. For the past two days, the device has completely stopped charging, making it impossible to use.
After experiencing this issue, I contacted Dyson and attempted to create a service request through a video support session. However, my request was rejected because my invoice was issued by Metro Market rather than directly by Dyson. I was also informed that since there is no Dyson store associated with my purchase, a service record could not be opened for the product.
Had I known about such a limitation before purchasing the vacuum cleaner, I would never have made the purchase under these conditions. Although the product is no longer under warranty, I believe Dyson should stand behind its products and provide support for diagnosing and repairing the device.
The fact that the vacuum cleaner has become completely unusable and that I am unable to even open a service request has caused significant inconvenience and disappointment. I respectfully request that Dyson inspect the device, determine the cause of the malfunction, and provide a repair solution. I also ask that my situation be resolved fairly despite the expiration of the warranty period.
